Job summary

Outside Analytics, a SMX subsidiary, seeks an Embedded Software Engineer to join a mission data processing team in Colorado. You will develop high-performance realtime C++ applications for remote sensing data, optimize SWaP constrained processing, and collaborate closely with architects and hardware teams.

The role requires 8+ years in Linux C++ on embedded systems, DoD-style processes, and a Secret clearance eligibility.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in high-performance C++ on Linux for real-time systems.
• Strong embedded systems knowledge and HW acceleration concepts.
• Ability to document and communicate software designs clearly.
• Familiar with Git or similar version control.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize real-time C++ applications for mission data processing.
• Characterize remote sensing data and tune signal processing chains.
• Contribute to robust signal processing architecture.
• Ensure designs are documented and tested.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines and DoD processes.
