Vola Dynamics is seeking a data-oriented Software Engineer to help design and build a next-generation streaming data infrastructure from scratch. You will develop high-performance APIs and scalable data systems for real-time and historical options analytics in a hybrid team, with a strong emphasis on research-to-production pipelines.

You will work on a modern stack including Python, C++, Rust, Kubernetes, and ClickHouse, while applying best practices and contributing to a rapidly growing

Formación

• BS or MS in a quantitative field such as CS, Physics, Math or Engineering.
• 2–6 years of production data-oriented systems experience in Python.
• Design, build and maintain scalable user-facing data APIs.
• Experience deploying orchestration and containerization: Dagster, Airflow, Docker or Kubernetes.
• Strong ability to transform and analyze large numerical datasets.
• Authorization to work in the US and strong communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Design high-performance APIs in C++, Python, and Rust for real-time and historical data.
• Build internal tools (GUIs/TUIs) to accelerate research to production.
• Develop scalable systems to ingest, transform, and analyze market data.
• Maintain the data processing library underpinning streaming analytics.
• Use AI tools like Claude Code and Codex in development workflows.
• Own and evolve a distributed infrastructure spanning bare‑metal, Kubernetes, and cloud.
