You will blend software development, industrial automation, and hands-on plant support to boost reliability and production performance. Responsibilities include monitoring systems, troubleshooting issues, integrating PLCs/SCADA, and developing applications with C# and VB.NET.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software or industrial systems experience.
• Proficient with C# or VB.NET and scripting languages.
• Experience in SQL database design, development, and management.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP networking and client/server architectures.
• Familiarity with PLCs and industrial automation environments.
• Strong troubleshooting in real-time systems.
• Ability to work independently on technical challenges.

Responsibilities

• Industrial System Support & Monitoring: monitor real-time control systems for uptime.
• Troubleshoot operators' reported issues to minimize production impact.
• Develop applications using C#, VB.NET, and scripting languages.
• Integrate systems with PLCs, SCADA, and other industrial devices.
• Maintain client/server apps and inter-process communications.
• Support modernization efforts for automation systems.
• Configure and troubleshoot plant network communications (TCP/IP).
• Design and maintain PostgreSQL or SQL Server databases.
• Work on the plant floor to resolve issues in real-time.
