Job summary

Lasko Products, a leader in home comfort, seeks a Controls Engineer to design and program automated systems for manufacturing. You will develop PLC programs, troubleshoot machinery, and collaborate with IT and Maintenance to deliver reliable, cost‑effective automation solutions.

The role requires hands‑on wiring, panel building, and HMI development, with opportunities to lead robotics and data‑driven dashboards across multiple facilities. Hybrid schedule may apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5–10 years of manufacturing experience.
• Experience developing, modifying, and troubleshooting PLC programs.
• Strong knowledge of electrical control systems and industrial networks.
• Proficiency with reading electrical schematics and technical drawings.
• Hands-on wiring, cabinet building, and HMI configuration.

Responsibilities

• Design machine control systems and develop PLC programs from concept through completion.
• Troubleshoot equipment, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Develop, install, and commission control systems for new equipment builds.
• Identify opportunities to improve automation and introduce new solutions.
• Collaborate with IT on industrial networks and system integration.
• Support Maintenance and Operations with PLC, electrical, and equipment issues.
• Build control cabinets and run wiring; support dashboards and data acquisition.
