American Family Care in Memphis, TN is seeking an experienced Clinical Scribe/Medical Assistant to support providers in a fast-paced urgent care. This hybrid role blends real-time documentation in Experity with hands-on MA duties to keep patients moving from arrival to discharge.

Ideal candidates have MA certification, experience with Experity EMR, strong typing, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a high-volume setting.

Qualifications

• Experience with real-time clinical documentation in urgent care.
• Proficiency in medical terminology and procedures documentation.
• Minimum one year in urgent care or high-volume outpatient setting preferred.
• Strong typing and ability to listen and document accurately in real time.
• Familiarity with HIPAA and patient confidentiality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Document visits in Experity in real time while care is provided.
• Capture HPI, ROS, exam findings, procedures and orders as directed.
• Prepare charts for provider review and completion.
• Record diagnoses, prescriptions and discharge information per provider guidance.
• Maintain accurate documentation to support efficient patient flow.
