Lexington Medical Center is seeking a Medical Assistant/Clinical Scribe to support patients and providers in a fast-paced clinical setting. You will assist with patient intake, documentation, scheduling, and maintaining Epic EHR records, while also serving as a scribe as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 6 months of patient care experience (Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field can substitute), and a current BLS certification or the ability to obtain within 90

Formación

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required; 6 months patient care experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in a science or health-related field may substitute for required experience.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtainable within 90 days of hire.
• Successful completion of LMC competency assessment during probation.

Responsabilidades

• Assist patients and providers with direct and indirect patient care.
• Enter patient data into Epic and maintain medical records.
• Schedule physician appointments and arrange patient referrals.
• Provide patient support for intake, documentation, and clerical tasks.
• Serve as a provider's scribe when needed.
