Job summary

You will design, develop and deploy C++ real-time tactical and simulation software on Windows and Linux, contributing to integrated weapons and battlefield models. The role requires BS in CS/CE, 5 years of experience, strong C++11+, NGTS/AFSIM/ITASE familiarity, Agile, Git, CMake and Google Test, plus eligibility for a DoD security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related discipline.
• 5 years of professional technical experience.
• Experience with modern C++ (C++11 or later).
• Experience with NGTS, AFSIM, or ITASE simulation environments.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Experience with Git version control.
• Proficiency in debugging and profiling.
• Ability to write portable code across Windows and Linux.
• Knowledge of CMake build system.
• Proficiency with Google Test.
• US Citizenship and ability to obtain a DoD Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, integrate, test and deploy software in C++ for real-time tactical and simulation applications.
• Work closely with engineers, managers, and critical stakeholders to understand performance and verification requirements.
• Provide inputs to system architecture and design as part of a Tactical Software Development team.
