Job summary

You will design, develop, test, and deploy real-time software for Navy systems, collaborating with a multidisciplinary group and applying Agile practices. Qualified applicants hold a Bachelor's degree, 5 years of software engineering experience, 2 years with Navy/Joint systems, US citizenship with DoD clearance eligibility, and proficiency in Windows/Linux with C/C++ or Java.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline.
• 5 years of experience in software engineering applied to program development, modeling, and/or simulation.
• 2 years of experience with Navy or Joint systems.
• US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD Security Clearance.
• Software development proficiency in Windows/Linux and C/C++ or Java.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, integrate, test and deploy software in Java (Swing, FX) for real‑time tactical and simulation applications supporting Navy Systems.
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to understand performance and verification requirements for high‑performance tactical systems.
• Provide inputs to system architecture and design as part of a Tactical Software Development team.
• Develop software under Agile Design paradigms and collaborative coding techniques.
