Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking software engineers to design and implement cutting-edge tracking algorithms for air and missile threats. You will develop real-time radar processing systems, collaborate with radar engineers, and optimize performance for mission-critical environments.

You will contribute to modeling and simulation efforts, participate in demonstrations, and work within cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end defense solutions. A Top Secret SCI clearance is required.

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant experience or equivalent
• Strong programming skills in C++ and Python
• Solid foundation in mathematics (linear algebra, probability, statistics, or differential equations)
• Understanding of software engineering fundamentals (design patterns, testing, version control, debugging)
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Top Secret SCI security clearance

Responsibilities

• Design and implement advanced tracking algorithms for air and missile threats, including multi-target tracking, track fusion, and discrimination techniques
• Develop high-performance, real-time software systems that process radar sensor data and maintain tracks on dozens to hundreds of targets
• Build and leverage modeling and simulation environments to validate tracking performance and quantify system capabilities
• Collaborate with radar engineers and system architects to integrate tracking solutions into end-to-end defense systems
• Optimize tracking software for performance-critical environments where milliseconds matter
• Communicate technical concepts and trade-offs to cross-functional teams, program leadership, and customers
• Participate in customer demonstrations and field tests to ensure deployment and operational effectiveness
