Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering/Math/Physics or related field.
• Strong programming skills in C++ and Python.
• Solid foundation in linear algebra, probability, statistics, or differential equations.
• Understanding of software engineering fundamentals: design patterns, testing, version control, debugging.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Top Secret SCI security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement advanced tracking algorithms for air and missile threats.
• Develop real-time software systems that process radar data and track dozens to hundreds of targets.
• Create and use modeling and simulation environments to validate tracking performance.
• Collaborate with radar engineers to integrate tracking into defense systems.
• Optimize tracking software for performance-critical environments where milliseconds count.
• Communicate concepts and trade-offs to cross-functional teams and leadership.
• Participate in customer demonstrations and field tests to ensure deployment effectiveness.
