Job summary

T-Mobile is seeking a senior engineer to set the technical direction for systems making data usable across customer apps, analytics, and AI products. You will design high-performance services, APIs, and data stores with a focus on latency, scale, and reliability.

You will mentor engineers, influence architecture decisions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver AI-ready data capabilities for better products and customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering (Required)
• Advanced degree with related experience (Required)
• 7-10 years of technical engineering experience (Required)

Responsibilities

• Design and build serving infrastructure for AI use cases including vector databases, graph databases, and agent-facing data patterns
• Design Infrastructure-as-Code blueprints for provisioning serving stores, sync pipelines, and APIs in a repeatable, governed way
• Partner with business and technical teams to drive decisions, mentor engineers, and contribute to reusable blueprints
• Develop high-performance data stores, real-time sync pipelines, and governed APIs to meet latency/scale needs
• Lead projects delivering software solutions meeting requirements and quality standards
• Provide technical leadership by mentoring engineers and influencing decisions
• Evaluate technology strategies aligned with business goals
• Create innovative software designs to enhance existing systems
• Produce architecture docs for internal/external stakeholders
• Handle additional duties as needed by management
