Job summary

PeopleTec is seeking a Software Engineer in Huntsville, AL to build real-time software services that connect voice requests to AI agents and the flight simulator. The role includes developing interfaces for AI services and the simulator, and creating browser-based instructor tools for review and training.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field preferred.
Equivalent professional or military experience may substitute for a degree.
5-8 years of software engineering experience preferred.
Experience building real-time or streaming software services.

Responsibilities

Develop software services that connect voice input, transcription, AI agents, and spoken responses in a real-time application.
Build interfaces between AI services and the flight simulator, including support for simulator commands.
Develop browser-based tools for instructors to review system behavior and provide feedback.
Implement traceability, logging, and controls to connect results to models and versions.
Develop automated tests, troubleshoot problems, and deliver software fixes.
