Job summary

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of ML engineering experience delivering language-model apps.
• Experience with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems.
• Strong Python skills and deployment on CUDA-capable GPUs.
• Experience evaluating model performance and tracking experiments.
• Travel occasionally; U.S. citizen; ability to obtain Secret clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Math/Engineering or related field.
• Knowledge graphs/ontologies (OWL/RDF/SPARQL) desired.
• Speech recognition or audio pipeline experience helpful.
• Aviation/training/simulation background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build AI applications that generate training scenarios and answer questions from reference documents.
• Prepare training data and fine-tune language models using domain material and feedback.
• Validate generated scenarios against training requirements and test model metrics.
• Collaborate with software team to integrate, release, and maintain models and data.
• Develop trainee assessment, adaptive difficulty, and after-action review features as capabilities expand.
