Job summary
Altus Group is seeking a Real Estate Valuation Consultant in our Atlanta office to manage the valuation process for institutional real estate funds. You will interact with clients and team members, overseeing data-heavy tasks and the quarterly appraisal management cycle.
The role requires advanced Excel (VBA) skills, strong communication, and experience in commercial property valuation and asset management. Altus offers flexibility, growth, and a collaborative culture.
Qualifications
- University degree in Finance, Statistics, Data/CS, Mathematics, or related field.
- Strong Excel proficiency with VBA; knowledge of SQL, R/Python is a plus.
- Experience in Commercial Real Estate Valuation/Asset Management/Underwriting.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily workflow and client interactions; oversee valuation process for institutional real estate funds.
- Present data visually; create dashboards with tables, charts, and maps.
- Review work by juniors; coach and mentor staff.
- Ensure USPAP and state regulation compliance in appraisal reports.
- Manage engagements to deliver on time and within budget.
