Job summary

Sbhonline is seeking an Underwriting Analyst to support the underwriting process, manage loan files, and participate in transactions from initial application through closing. The role offers exposure to a fast-growing private lending team focused on real estate investments.

You will analyze borrower financials, collaborate with sales, and communicate with borrowers and brokers to ensure timely loan conditions and accurate underwriting packages.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze borrower financials, collateral, and transaction risks to formulate data-driven credit recommendations.
• Collaborate with sales and business development teams to align underwriting with deal strategy and client goals.
• Communicate with borrowers, brokers, attorneys, and vendors to collect outstanding loan conditions.
• Prepare loan summaries and underwriting packages for internal review.
• Assist the Senior Underwriter with underwriting bridge, construction, and DSCR loan requests.
• Help develop and execute business plans through thorough market and competitor analysis.
