Job summary

Nexamp is seeking a Real Estate & Title Operations Specialist to support real estate and title matters for third-party project financings. You’ll coordinate with Legal, Portfolio Operations, Finance, Capital Markets, and external partners to keep closings on track and ensure deliverables meet investor standards.

Based in a hybrid office setup (Boston, Chicago, or Washington DC), you will report to the Director, Financing Operations and help standardize workflows, strengthening Nexamp’s financing

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of relevant professional experience in real estate, title, or property transactions.
• Experience coordinating with Legal, Portfolio Operations, Finance, and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to deliver complete and accurate real estate requirements for project financing.
• Serve as the primary liaison for title and real estate issues, reviewing title commitments, proformas, ALTA surveys, and related documents for accuracy and compliance.
• Drive resolution of title defects by managing external partners and internal teams to align with Nexamp’s interests.
• Identify and elevate title, survey, and site-control risks that could delay funding and help drive resolution.
• Communicate actionable next steps to Portfolio Operations, Finance, and Legal teams to support timely delivery of real estate packages.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration among Legal, Portfolio Operations, Finance, Capital Markets, and external partners to maintain project timelines.
• Review real estate and title documentation, including resolutions, affidavits, estoppels, and title policies, with high accuracy and alignment to standards.
• Own real estate financing-readiness tracking across assigned projects, maintaining status visibility and next steps.
• Track and report progress on deliverables using internal systems and databases.
• Represent Nexamp professionally with lender counsel, title companies, and financing partners.
• Help standardize and improve real estate and title workflows, templates, trackers, and playbooks.
