Job summary

HDR is seeking a Real Estate Service Title Agent 2 in the United States (WA region). You will perform title research, review documents, and help manage title issues under supervision. The role supports Project Managers and senior staff to ensure accuracy and compliance.

The position emphasizes attention to legal descriptions, record-keeping, and collaboration with multiple real estate professionals; requires 3+ years of experience and relevant certification or degree.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Solid organizational and planning skills.
• Ability to understand real estate documents such as deeds, easements, liens, probates.

Responsibilities

• Read, write, retrace and interpret legal descriptions (parent parcel, metes and bounds).
• Review title defects and curative requirements; escalate as needed.
• Prepare project reports and review title document packages.
• Maintain accurate records of title research activities with backups.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and Real Estate teams.
• Assist training junior staff and share task procedures.
• Escalate title issues to Real Estate Agent/Project Manager when needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
