Job summary

Regency Centers invites motivated students to join its Los Angeles regional office for a summer Intern - Real Estate program. The role exposes you to Leasing, Property Operations, Construction/Development, and Investments, with hands-on tasks and shadowing real estate professionals.

The internship runs ~8 weeks, averaging 40 hours per week, in person. High performers may be considered for a full-time opportunity based on business needs and performance.

Qualifications

• Must be a current sophomore or junior enrolled at an accredited 4-year college.
• GPA of at least 3.0 at time of application.
• Expressed interest in commercial real estate.
• Proficient with Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and internet research.
• Ability to work Monday–Friday, 8 hours/day in Los Angeles office.

Responsibilities

• Assist in identifying prospective tenants and presenting opportunities.
• Analyze and underwrite for new and renewal deals.
• Support leasing inquiries and maintain contacts database.
• Conduct market studies and prepare market reports.
• Shadow property managers during inspections and visits.
• Assist in due diligence for acquisitions and developments.
