Job summary

Anchor Health Properties in Charlottesville, VA, is seeking a Staff Accountant to handle revenue and expense reporting for the company and clients, as part of monthly accounting and property management cycles. You will be an ambassador for the firm, bringing proactive problem solving and outcome orientation to the role.

The position offers a base salary range of $60,000–$70,000 annually, with a discretionary bonus opportunity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or finance preferred.
• 1–2 years accounting experience preferred.
• Prior real estate or corporate finance/accounting a plus.
• Specific experience with Yardi Voyager a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review general ledger for accuracy and reasonableness.
• Participate in month-end close and quarterly reporting with reconciliations.
• Manage a/p and a/r; enter, review, and code journal entries.
• Ensure proper audit trails and supporting documentation.
• Develop Yardi Voyager expertise for property management analytics.
• Generate financial reports and spreadsheets in Excel.
• Assist with business development and management decision summaries.
• Collaborate with Controller on special assignments.
