The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in accounting, familiarity with Yardi or AvidXchange, and strong Excel and communication skills. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance is required. Base salary ranges from $65,000 to $80,000 plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with strong academic record.
• 1-3 years of relevant accounting experience in a high-volume environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and financial software.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to self-manage and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare direct bills, late fees, and one-time charges for tenants.
• Maintain aging report and apply tenant credits.
• Review cash receipts daily.
• Collaborate with Accounts Receivable Specialist to ensure accuracy.
• Correspond with Third-Party Property Managers regarding operations.
• Review accounts payable for accuracy.
• Prepare month-end journal entries.
• Prepare balance sheet and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and reporting packages.
• Prepare monthly CAM reconciliations.
• Review and prepare yearly CAM reconciliations.
• Assist with yearly budget preparation.
