Ares Management is hiring an Associate for Portfolio Analytics focused on Real Estate Secondaries in Boston, MA. You will join a Finance team of about 60 professionals located in multiple offices and work on investment analysis, reporting, and valuation tasks.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of experience in investment analysis or accounting, with an interest in real estate. Strong Excel and writing skills, plus a collaborative, detail-oriented mindset, are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
• Approximately 2-3 years in investment analysis, accounting, or related field.
• Prior experience or demonstrated interest in real estate preferred.
• Strong financial analysis, writing and presentation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word; GPA 3.4 minimum.

Responsibilities

• Assist in portfolio analytics for Real Estate Secondaries in a fast-paced team.
• Analyze quarterly investment reports, valuations, and diversification metrics.
• Prepare investor reports and performance measures (TWR, IRR, Multiples).
• Support valuation changes analysis and documentation for portfolios.
• Coordinate with investment professionals and Investor Relations as needed.
