Job summary

Jobot is hiring an Accounting Manager for a hybrid role in the real estate sector. You will oversee core accounting functions, manage forecasts and reporting, and maintain ERP platforms like Yardi, MRI, Real Page, TOPS and Entrata to support scalable financial processes.

The position requires at least 5 years in real estate accounting, strong leadership, and excellent analytical skills. A CPA/CMA is a plus, with eligibility for health benefits and a competitive PTO package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years in a similar role, preferably in the Engineering industry.
• Proven experience in real estate accounting and multi-family.
• Proficiency with Yardi, MRI, Real Page, TOPS and Entrata.
• Strong forecasting, cash management and financial reporting knowledge.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Leadership abilities and capability to develop a team.
• CPA/CMA/CGA/CA certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounts payable/receivable, GL, and taxes.
• Coordinate financial forecasts, reports and statements.
• Perform cash forecasting and ensure financial stability.
• Review financial data to identify discrepancies and variances.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Collaborate with departments to improve financial operations.
• Maintain ERP systems (Yardi, MRI, Real Page, TOPS, Entrata).
• Ensure compliance with applicable policies and regulations.
• Develop strategies for financial growth and sustainability.
• Provide guidance on capital financing options.
