Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field or equivalent work experience.
• 0-2 years of accounting experience, preferably in property/accounting or real estate.
• Proficiency with Excel and accounting software/financial systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and close monthly property books and statements including real estate taxes, CAM, insurance, rental income, and operating expenses.
• Review balance sheet and income statement accounts for accuracy and identify key drivers.
• Record journal entries including accruals for contracts, work orders, capital projects, unpaid expenditures, and utilities.
• Process and approve invoices in the AP system and assist with annual operating budgets.
• Serve as the primary accounting contact for assigned properties and support auditors.
