Job summary

The Inland Real Estate Group, LLC is hiring for a senior accounting leadership role in Oak Brook, IL. You will lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes for investment portfolios and oversee GAAP financial statement preparation, lender reports, and investor reporting.

You will supervise staff, drive process improvements, and coordinate with external auditors to ensure accurate, timely financial reporting and strong internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• 7–10 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience in real estate, investment management, private equity, or asset-based environment preferred.
• Previous management and supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and review month, quarter, and annual close for assigned investment portfolios.
• Oversee GAAP financial statements, lender and investor reporting.
• Perform variance analyses and investigate significant fluctuations.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of reporting deliverables.
• Supervise accounting staff and provide mentorship and development.
