  • Strong financial analysis, real estate modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and underwriting (there will be a modeling test).
  • Strong understanding of healthcare real estate sectors preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and exceptional work ethic.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

  • Execution of broader market and industry research focused on healthcare and senior housing real estate.
  • Detailed financial modeling, valuation analysis, and returns analysis for potential opportunities.
  • Asset management of investments post-close, including performance monitoring and initiatives.
  • Working closely with Vice Presidents, Principals, and Managing Directors to execute on investment strategy.
  • Assisting with due diligence, transaction execution, financing processes, and investment committee presentations.
  • Monitoring and evaluating existing portfolio investments and market trends.

Company Overview:
A well-established and institutionally backed Real Estate Private Equity firm based in Miami, Florida is seeking to add a Real Estate Private Equity Associate to its investment team. The firm primarily focuses on senior housing, medical office, outpatient healthcare, and other healthcare-related real estate investments across the United States. With over $4B in assets under management and a robust acquisition pipeline, this role offers the opportunity to work directly alongside experienced investment professionals while gaining extensive exposure to acquisitions, asset management, development, and portfolio management within one of the fastest-growing sectors of commercial real estate.

The Real Estate Private Equity Associate will be responsible for:

  • Execution of broader market and industry research focused on healthcare and senior housing real estate
  • Detailed financial modeling, valuation analysis, and returns analysis for potential acquisition and development opportunities
  • Asset management of investments post-close, including performance monitoring and strategic initiatives
  • Working closely with Vice Presidents, Principals, and Managing Directors to execute on investment strategy
  • Assisting with due diligence, transaction execution, financing processes, and investment committee presentations
  • Monitoring and evaluating existing portfolio investments and market trends

The Real Estate Private Equity Associate should have the following qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of healthcare real estate, senior housing, medical office, or related investment sectors preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and exceptional work ethic
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
