A leading real estate investment and development firm with an active pipeline across South Florida is seeking a high-caliber Analyst/Associate to join their investment team. The firm oversees a portfolio of large-scale mixed-use development projects in Miami.
This role would be 5 days a week on-site in Miami, FL- 33137.
The Role:
This Senior Analyst/Junior Associate role is a core position on the investment team, with ownership across underwriting, deal execution, and portfolio management. It's a high-visibility seat with direct access to senior leadership and exposure to the full deal lifecycle- from sourcing through closing and ongoing asset management. Compensation will be structured to match the caliber of candidate and experience level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain sophisticated financial models, development pro formas, waterfall structures, and returns analyses for acquisition and development opportunities
- Lead market, demographic, and competitive research to sharpen underwriting assumptions and support investment theses
- Author investment committee memoranda and prepare materials for internal and external stakeholders, including lenders, equity partners, and senior leadership
- Drive due diligence across legal, financial, and physical workstreams, coordinating with third-party advisors and consultants
- Support capitalization efforts, including debt and equity sourcing, term sheet review, and lender/partner relations
- Monitor portfolio performance, track budgets and timelines, and contribute to asset management reporting
- Support investor relations, including quarterly reporting packages, investor updates, capital account statements, and LP inquiries
Qualifications:
- 2–4 years of experience in real estate investment banking, private equity, development, or a related field; candidates completing a structured analyst program in New York and open to relocating to Miami are strongly encouraged to apply
- Bachelor's degree in finance, real estate, economics, or a related discipline; strong academic record required
- Advanced financial modeling and Excel skills, with a strong command of real estate underwriting concepts and capital structures
- Exceptional analytical, written, and verbal communication skills with rigorous attention to detail
- Entrepreneurial and self-directed, comfortable managing competing priorities in a lean, fast-moving environment
