Job summary

McMichael & Gray, PC in Mobile, AL seeks a highly organized precloser with 2+ years of experience in title companies or law firms. You will communicate with agents, lenders, buyers and sellers via phone and email, coordinate closings, order title work, and prepare closing documents with meticulous attention to deadlines.

The role is full-time, in-office Monday–Friday 8:30am–5pm, with benefits including employer-paid medical/dental/vision and disability insurance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of preclosing experience in a title company or law firm preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with agents, lenders, buyers and sellers through closing process.
• Coordinate with parties and vendors to close by contract dates.
• Receive contracts and manage files with the client team.
• Order title examinations and municipal lien searches.
• Verify contact information and ensure accuracy of documents for closing.
• Work with attorneys on title clearance prior to closing.
• Coordinate closing appointments and prepare closing documents.
• Perform additional tasks as directed by manager or attorney.
