Job summary

Ryder System,Inc. seeks an Associate Real Estate Portfolio Manager to lead negotiations, financial analysis, and legal research across Ryder's real estate assets.

This asset management role supports business units in achieving real estate goals and delivers strategic direction to senior leadership. The role interfaces with Legal, Environmental, Risk, Safety, Operations, Business Development and BU Leadership to ensure timely, compliant transactions and to drive continuous portfolio improvements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in real estate, business, finance, or related field.
• Master's degree preferred real estate or related field
• Five (5) years or more professional experience in Commercial Real Estate related jobs required

Responsibilities

• Manage Real Estate transactions start to finish and coordinate with brokers to source properties and valuations.
• Develop and execute diverse Real Estate strategies for designated portfolio areas; lead cross-functional teams for transactions.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely completion of projects and adherence to Ryder policies and approvals.
• Evaluate portfolio needs and identify improvement initiatives to drive efficiencies and reduce waste.
• Lead and manage external consultants (architects, engineers, brokers) for asset evaluation and transaction completion.
• Ensure accuracy of Ryder portfolio records in RE database and compliance with SOX requirements.
