Northmarq’s Portfolio and Asset Management Intern Summer 2027 in Dallas offers hands-on experience in loan escrow reviews, property inspections, and financial analysis. You will support Portfolio and Asset Managers while learning the commercial real estate lending workflow.

The ten-week program emphasizes training, deadlines, and collaboration, helping you build analytical, organizational, and communication skills with opportunities to present projects to senior management.

Qualifications

Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, preferably in finance, real estate, or accounting.
Strong analytical and communication skills are required.
Prior internship or office experience is preferred.
Attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

Plan and schedule your workload to meet benchmarks.
Provide premier customer service to lenders, borrowers, Northmarq staff and vendors.
Review and process loan escrow disbursement requests.
Support Asset and Portfolio Managers with consent requests and inspections.
Review property inspections conducted by third-party vendors.
Work with customers to resolve inspection issues and deferred maintenance.
Participate in a Summer Intern Team Project and present to Senior Management.
