Job summary

K-Star Asset Management LLC, a KKR subsidiary, seeks Summer Interns for a 10-week program in Dallas, TX, starting June 2027. You will assist Credit Asset Management and Special Servicing, help oversee a portfolio of loans, review financial statements, and prepare reports for senior management across the U.S.

Qualifications

• Current undergraduate students with an anticipated graduation date between December 2027 - June 2028.
• Genuine interest in commercial real estate, credit, and investing through coursework or prior experience.
• Comfort using AI-powered tools to improve productivity and quality of work.

Responsibilities

• Monitor portfolio performance for potential adverse credit issues and trend analyses.
• Review and analyze monthly/quarterly financial statements and rent rolls against underwriting and budgets.
• Monitor market dynamics to assess tenant credit risks and concentrations.
• Interpret loan documents to confirm covenants and terms.
• Prepare and review asset performance reports for management and investors.
• Evaluate draw requests, lease approvals, and loan modifications.
• Manage special projects and implement new technologies to support the platform.
• Create reports and memos for ad hoc projects.
