Job summary

UMB Financial Corporation is seeking a Portfolio Manager I to assist Real Estate Group lenders and portfolio managers with credit analysis, covenant monitoring, and annual reviews for non-owner occupied CRE loans $1,000,000+.

You will partner with Lenders to administer a range of REG banking relationships, prepare loan proposals, analyze collateral across asset classes, and support documentation and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, CRE or related fields
• 1+ years banking or equivalent regulatory/bank policy experience including credit analysis
• Current valid driver’s license
• Demonstrates strong analytical skills
• Demonstrates strong communication skills (verbal & written)
• Demonstrates understanding of credit underwriting and loan contracts
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Familiarity with commercial lending software

Responsibilities

• Partner with REG Lenders and Portfolio Managers to manage REG banking relationships
• Perform credit analysis, covenant monitoring and annual reviews for client relationships
• Prepare loan proposals with collateral analysis and pricing/risk rating models
• Monitor covenant compliance in Capital Stream and Optimist
• Track documentation exceptions, past dues and covenant exceptions
• Analyze borrower/property/guarantor financial performance and trends
• Provide recurring customer service and support loan officers in joint calls or direct client contact
• File reports and resolve related issues promptly
