Job summary

UL Research Institutes and UL Standards & Engagement in Columbia, MD or Washington, DC, seeks a Project Manager, Real Estate Planning & Development to lead planning, design coordination, owner requirements management, and execution for complex capital projects.

You will coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and operations, manage OP requirements, track deliverables, reviews, and ensure decisions are documented and closed through programming to closeout.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project workstreams across planning, design, procurement, construction administration, commissioning, and closeout with alignment to owner requirements.
• Manage day-to-day coordination with architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders to keep decisions and deliverables on schedule.
• Support Owner Project Requirements (OPR) development, tracking, and resolution of departures from owner requirements.
• Track design deliverables through programming to construction documents and maintain comment registers and closure of owner review comments.
• Review design documents to identify coordination issues and potential impacts to scope, schedule, cost, or operations.
