UL Research Institutes and UL Standards & Engagement seeks a Project Manager, Real Estate Planning & Development to lead complex capital projects from programming through closeout. The role is based in Columbia, MD or Washington, DC, and involves coordinating planning, design, procurement, and construction activities with internal stakeholders, delivery partners, and program leadership.

You will manage Owner Project Requirements, track deliverables in PMIS, review drawings for constructability,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• PMP certification preferred for advanced project management.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project workstreams across planning, design, procurement, construction administration, commissioning, and closeout.
• Manage day-to-day coordination with architects, engineers, consultants, and stakeholders to keep reviews moving on schedule.
• Support development and tracking of Owner Project Requirements (OPR) and resolve departures.
• Review design documents to identify coordination issues and impacts to scope, schedule, cost.
• Prepare agendas, facilitate meetings, and drive timely closure of actions.
• Use PMIS and document control to maintain records and project documentation.
