Job summary

Consilio LLC's Direct Hire Division is seeking a Real Estate Title & Survey Paralegal to support its sophisticated commercial real estate practice. Qualifications

• 4-5+ years of relevant experience in commercial real estate title and survey work.
• Experience with title commitments, surveys, due diligence, and title issue analysis.
• Background with a law firm real estate practice or title company preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate title and survey review for commercial real estate transactions.
• Review title commitments, analyze exceptions, identify title issues, and assist with endorsements and pro formas.
• Coordinate and track due diligence deliverables, including flood diligence when applicable.
• Support transactions ranging from single-property deals to large portfolio acquisitions.
• Work closely with attorneys, title companies, borrowers' counsel, and other transaction parties to ensure accurate and timely completion of diligence.
• Assist with resolving title and survey-related issues under tight transaction deadlines.
• Meet the annual billable requirement of 1,650 hours.

Consilio's Direct Hire Division is partnering with an Am Law firm seeking a Real Estate Title & Survey Paralegal to support its sophisticated commercial real estate practice.

This role can be based in New York City or Charlotte, NC.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience reviewing title commitments and surveys, identifying and resolving title issues, coordinating due diligence, and supporting commercial real estate transactions. Candidates from either a law firm or title company environment are encouraged to apply.

Schedule

• Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM ET, with flexibility for overtime as needed to support closings and transaction deadlines
