Tactex Recruiting Advisors is a recruiting company, and we're working on behalf of a Commercial Real Estate Investment Firm who's looking for a talented and high-character Real Estate Paralegal (for their Asset Management department).

As the Real Estate Paralegal on the Asset Management (AM) Legal team, you will provide support by handling leasing-related legal matters, managing project workflows, and ensuring effective coordination between stakeholders. This position will work closely with the Paralegal Manager, Attorney, and Asset Management teams to facilitate the review and execution of legal documents, maintain compliance with lease and lender requirements, and oversee certain leasing projects.

Pay range: $70k-80k/yr. (but will consider up to 125k with more direct experience).
Location: 100% Remote.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in drafting and reviewing commercial leases, amendments, consent letters, demand letters, estoppels, tenant notices, and related documents.
- Support attorneys in resolving landlord-tenant matters by conducting legal research, reviewing relevant leases and loan agreements, and providing supporting documentation.
- Assist in reviewing and negotiating easement requests.
- Interpret and review title reports, surveys and zoning regulations impacting the properties we manage on behalf of investors.
- Manage the resolution of insurance claims consistent with any lease obligations, while coordinating with insurers, tenants, and legal teams.
- Track deadlines, conduct timely follow-ups, obtain necessary approvals, and manage project workflows using case management tools.
- Act as a liaison between asset management, external legal counsel, lenders, and tenants to facilitate smooth communication and resolve legal disputes and inquiries.
- Maintain and manage AM Legal’s document library while complying with record retention policies.
- Monitor lender requirements and ensure that lease modifications, consents, and other legal matters align with financial obligations.
- Perform other paralegal duties as needed to support AM Legal operations.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of two years of commercial real estate experience; (law firm or insurance experience preferred but not required).
- Associate or bachelor’s degree required; (degree in applied science in Paralegal Studies (AAS) or equivalent Paralegal training or certification strongly preferred).
- Must have a wide range of commercial real estate transaction knowledge, including leasing, property rights, and contract interpretation.
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills with the ability to identify and manage priorities.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Must be able to demonstrate diplomacy and perform well under pressure.
- Ability to multi-task and work successfully both in a team and independently.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong respect of confidentiality, moral obligations, and fiduciary duties.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.
