Job description

Our client is a global IPP with offices in 3 continents. We are now looking for a Land Administration Expert in the role of Real Estate Paralegal to support the Land Acquisition and Development teams. As a Real Estate Paralegal you will provide essential support to a remote land acquisition team by managing documentation, maintaining records, and coordinating communication between internal teams and external stakeholders. Please note experience in REAL ESTATE- LAND is necessary for this role as well as working 4 days per week from the company's office in Stuart.

Core Tasks
  • Research and verification of the property ownership to include current contact information prior to any Land team contact.
  • Responsible for updating and ensuring accuracy on all Tracker (ownership contact information) lists per Project.
  • Responsible for populating the Tracker information for all third-party land acquisition contractors.
  • Responsible for sending out letters/mailers (first contact to land owners) known as Mailouts, alerting them of an approaching visit/and/or interest in participating in an upcoming Land project with the company.
  • Responsible for following up and cold calling new land owners that we receive as a consequence of their property ownership research, and creating an appointment with one of the Land team.
  • Setting up meetings with the different land teams as a result of the mailers/letters/cold calling/postcards.
  • Responsible for communicating with the Land team to ensure projects and appointments are timely and accurate inside their meeting calendars.
  • Communication with the Land team on any changes to their calendars as a result of changes in the owner’s schedule.
  • Support of the Land team in their activities – extra duties to the side as needed
RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Research and verification of the property ownership and contact information.
  2. Updating accuracy for the Land Project Trackers
  3. Cold calling and meeting setups for potential land owners
  4. Business development (Mailers/Letters/Postcards) handling.
  5. Support of Land/Legal/Prospecting/Finance/MD with Land as prio.
Education & Expertise
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
  • High school diploma.
  • Occasional travel as needed (under 10%)
  • Notary Public commission the State of Florida is considered an asset
