Job summary

Lumin People Limited in New York is seeking an experienced Real Estate Paralegal to join its growing renewable energy team. The role requires hands-on support across the development lifecycle and fast integration into ongoing projects.

You will review title commitments, surveys, leases and site control documents, resolve title issues, and coordinate with developers, counsel and title companies to move transactions toward closing. Salary is around $100k, commensurate with experience.

We are working with a growing global renewable energy business looking for an experienced Real Estate Paralegal to join its New York team.

This role will suit someone with direct renewable energy real estate experience who can step in quickly and support projects across the development lifecycle.

Responsibilities include:

• Reviewing title commitments, title reports, surveys and other property documentation
• Identifying and supporting the resolution of title issues and curative matters
• Reviewing leases, easements, site control and other land agreements
• Supporting property acquisitions, development transactions and closings
• Preparing and reviewing transaction and closing documentation
• Coordinating with development teams, legal counsel, title companies and other project stakeholders

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Strong paralegal experience within renewable energy real estate / project development
• Hands-on experience reviewing title commitments and managing title curative matters
• Experience with leases, easements, site control, surveys and other real estate documentation
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills

Salary is around $100k, depending on experience.
