My client, a respected Manhattan law firm, is renowned for its sophisticated real estate practice, particularly in cooperative and condominium transactions, financing, and litigation in New York’s competitive market. They are expanding their residential team and seek an experienced real estate banking paralegal to bolster their growing practice with title review and transactional expertise.

What you will be doing:

-Supporting attorneys in managing residential purchase, refinance, and construction loan transactions for cooperatives, condominiums, and multi-family properties.

-Conducting title and lien searches, reviewing reports, and preparing CEMAs and UCC filings to ensure clear title.

-Preparing Closing Disclosures, HUD-1s, ALTA settlement statements, and closing packages.

-Coordinating with clients, lenders, title companies, and real estate agents to meet pre-closing and closing requirements.

-Managing transaction pipelines, scheduling deadlines, and resolving issues to ensure timely closings.

-Handling post-closing tasks, including fund disbursement, document recording, and resolving trailing matters.

What you need:

-At least 2 years of experience as a paralegal in NYC residential real estate banking transactions.

-Strong expertise in reviewing title reports, lien searches, and preparing CEMAs.

-Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

-Ability to manage high-volume caseloads while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.

-Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal practice management software.

-Excellent communication skills and a proactive, collaborative approach with attorneys and clients.
