Job summary

SpecPro Professional Services, LLC is seeking a Real Estate/Occupancy Agreement Specialist based in the U.S. National Capitol Region. The role involves supporting the U.S. Federal Protective Service with developing and analyzing real estate agreements, offering strategic recommendations, and ensuring compliance with federal regulations.

Candidates should possess a minimum of 7 years of experience working with the federal government and strong communication skills. The job allows for a hybrid telework capacity, subject to government approval and requires residency within the National Capitol Region.

Qualifications

SpecPro Professional Services (SPS) is seeking a U.S. National Capitol Region-based Real Estate/Occupancy Agreement Specialist to support U.S. Federal Protective Service (FPS) offices. This position is intended for local hires residing in the National Capitol Region as employee must be able to report to the Alexandria or Springfield locations when required. This position is contingent upon award of contract.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Supports the development of real estate and/or occupancy agreements in compliance with federal space utilization policies and regulations.
• Supports the formulation of build-out and tenant responsibility agreements in support of FPS space relocations.
• Provides strategic recommendations for portfolio optimization and cost savings to aid governmental decision making.

Required Skills/Abilities

• Ability to analyze and support the development of real estate and occupancy agreements is required.
• Strong oral and written communication abilities required.
• Working knowledge of Tririga and ServiceNow is highly desirable.

Education, Experience and Certifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience working for/with federal Government required.
• Active CCIM, active FAC-C certification for Leasing Contracting Officers, within the last 5 years, or equivalent, preferred.

Work Location

• Must reside within the U.S. National Capitol Region
• May operate in a hybrid telework capacity within the National Capital Region (NCR), subject to Government approval.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to visit office, warehouse, and other FPS sites and measure spaces.
• Ability to perform desk work for extended periods, including sitting and using a computer.
