Job summary

Deerwood Bank is seeking a Processing & Disclosure Specialist in Baxter, MN. The role focuses on timely processing of real estate loan files and accurate preparation of required disclosures for Mortgage and Home Equity products.

Must work in-office, with a Monday–Friday schedule and pay between $25.00 and $30.00 per hour. The position involves data entry, coordination with loan officers and underwriters, and rigorous adherence to federal regulations and HMDA guidelines.

Qualifications

2+ years of mortgage loan processing experience in a high-volume environment (REQUIRED).
Experience with Encompass mortgage loan originations software strongly preferred.
Provide excellent customer service and work in a team environment.
Ability to prioritize and make on-the-spot decisions impacting customer satisfaction.
In-depth knowledge of mortgage process and compliance.
Strong keyboarding and general office equipment skills.

Responsibilities

Review and process loan documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with TILA regulations.
Input data into mortgage systems and prepare documentation for underwriting.
Collaborate with underwriters and loan officers to facilitate processing workflows.
Monitor disclosures timeline and ensure timely delivery based on regulatory requirements.
Generate and distribute up-front disclosures to applicants via mail, email, or e-sign.
Verify fees are appropriate for program type and geographic area of the loan.
Generate preliminary Closing Disclosure and closing documents.
Upload Closing Disclosures for secondary market loans to UCD system.
