Job summary

Deerwood Bank, a growing community bank with multiple Minnesota locations, seeks a Residential Real Estate Loan Processor and Disclosure Specialist. This office-based role handles real estate loan documents, disclosures, and timely processing to ensure regulatory compliance and customer satisfaction.

You will work with loan officers, underwriters, and servicing teams, applying attention to detail and strong Mortgage knowledge to support accurate, on-time closings.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of mortgage loan processing experience in a high-volume fast-paced environment.
• Experience working with Encompass mortgage loan originations software strongly preferred.
• Provide excellent customer service and work in a team environment.
• Ability to prioritize and make on-the-spot decisions that impact the customer, weighing satisfaction with exposure to loss or fraud.
• In-depth knowledge of mortgage process.
• Strong keyboarding skills and proficiency with office equipment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrate organization, prioritization of workflow, adaptability and flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Review and process loan documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with TILA regulations.
• Handle loan origination tasks such as data input, borrower information verification, and underwriting preparation.
• Collaborate with underwriters and loan officers to facilitate smooth processing workflows.
• Monitor timing of disclosures to ensure delivery within required timeframes for all mortgage products.
• Generate and distribute upfront disclosure packages and closing disclosures.
• Upload Closing Disclosures for all secondary market loans to UCD program.
• Ensure transactions comply with federal regulations and HMDA; maintain audit-ready records.
• Develop positive relationships with customers, coworkers and investors.
• Provide backup to other positions within the Mortgage Department and perform other duties as assigned.
