Job summary

Chesapeake Search Partners is assisting a growing real estate private equity firm in locating a Portfolio Manager focused on Loan Operations in Columbia, MD. The role reports to the Chief Operating Officer and will help manage loan advances, extensions, and onboarding of new loans, coordinating with clients and third‑party vendors to turn information into loan documentation and decisions.

You will review loan packages, monitor post‑closing items, analyze debt service metrics, and support risk

Qualifications

• Real estate lending experience is required.
• Strong Excel skills and familiarity with loan servicing software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, and client-facing ability.
• Organizational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Review loan documentation and enter loan terms into servicing systems.
• Spearhead collection of post-closing items and support operations.
• Analyze borrower requests to advise management on paths forward.
• Review real estate documents and third-party reports for risk considerations.
• Assist with debt service calculations and loan parameter reviews.
