Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Loan Closer or in a related role.
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to real estate lending.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with technology software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with private money lending practices is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review and verify loan documents for completeness and accuracy.
• Coordinate with loan officers, underwriters, title companies and borrowers to obtain missing documentation or clarification.
• Prepare closing packages in accordance with lender guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Schedule and facilitate the closing process, ensuring all parties are informed of their roles and responsibilities.
• Ensure the accurate disbursement of loan proceeds.
• Confirm all necessary documents are signed, notarized, and returned promptly.
• Resolve any issues or discrepancies identified prior to, during, or post-closing.
• Update and maintain accurate records in the CRM system.
• Stay updated with the latest industry standards, trends, and regulatory changes.
