We are representing a specialized California real estate law practice seeking an experienced Real Estate Attorney with strong HOA, condominium, common-interest development, and real estate development experience. The role focuses on the creation and development of HOAs and condominiums, governing documents, PUD projects, and California DRE matters, rather than day-to-day HOA operations. The practice has substantial experience in these areas, making this an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to further develop their expertise in a sophisticated and specialized real estate practice.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on real estate and common-interest development matters
• Handle legal matters involving HOAs, condominiums and PUDs
• Assist with the creation and development of common-interest communities
• Draft and review CC&Rs, governing documents, bylaws and related development documents
• Work with developers and builders on real estate projects
• Handle matters involving California DRE requirements and subdivision public reports
• Analyze and advise on California real estate and HOA laws
• Represent clients in real estate/HOA disputes and litigation, as applicable
• Work directly with clients and provide practical, strategic legal guidance

Salary and Other Compensation

The annual salary for this position is between $150,000 – $250,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
