Job summary

Ascendion in Southern California is seeking a Litigation Attorney to join a boutique firm focused on community associations and HOAs. The role emphasizes complex civil litigation, strategic client counseling, negotiation, and dispute resolution within a collaborative team.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of litigation experience, meaningful civil litigation background, and HOA exposure; experience in related fields like Real estate, Insurance defense, or Employment litigation is a plus.

Qualifications

• HOA/community association experience is a major plus.
• Experience in Real estate, Insurance defense, Employment litigation or Civil litigation is relevant.

Responsibilities

Employment Type: Full-Time

Compensation: $120,000–$180,000 + discretionary bonus

I’m currently recruiting for a Litigation Attorney to join a highly specialized Southern California boutique law firm focused on representing community associations and HOAs.

This is an opportunity for an attorney who enjoys complex civil litigation, strategic client counseling, negotiation and dispute resolution, and wants to develop a specialized practice with a collaborative team.

The practice is intentionally resolution-oriented, with significant emphasis placed on analyzing disputes early, advising clients, negotiating resolutions and pursuing settlement where appropriate. The litigation team handles matters through discovery, trial and, when necessary, appeals.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $125,000-$175,000 Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
