Job summary

Truist seeks an experienced technology leader to define and execute the real estate lending technology strategy. This executive will modernize the technology ecosystem, drive secure, scalable platforms, and align investments with business outcomes across the lending lifecycle.

The Head of Real Estate Lending Technology will lead global teams across engineering, product, data, and operations, promoting a product-centric operating model and responsible AI practices in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in technology operations.
Broad leadership and management experience leading complex technology operations teams.
Proven ability to manage complex operational initiatives across multiple teams.

Responsibilities

Lead a technology job area that may include several teams in engineering, infrastructure, architecture, security, operations, or analytics.
Develop and implement short‑to mid‑term operational plans, aligned with technology strategies.
Drive enhancements of processes, systems, and platforms to improve performance.
Solve difficult, multi‑team problems with investigation and data interpretation.
Communicate with stakeholders, influencing modernization initiatives.
Lead workforce planning, talent development, and performance management.
Steward budget and operational costs of the job area.
Ensure compliance with technology governance, risk, and security policies.
