Job summary

Truist is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to serve as a subject-matter expert for the LoanIQ platform within its Capital Markets Technology organization. This hands-on role combines technical delivery with deep domain knowledge across the loan lifecycle, from origination to settlement, and partners with front‑office, middle‑office, and operations stakeholders.

The successful candidate will own critical components, drive architecture, mentor engineers, and set technical standards for the team.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in software development.
Deep knowledge of multiple programming languages, software architecture, and design principles.
Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle, testing, deployment, and security practices.

Responsibilities

Own design, development, configuration, and support across the LoanIQ platform and its integrations.
Design, build, and maintain scalable, resilient solutions for loan syndication, sales, trading, and servicing workflows.
Translate business requirements from trading desks and operations into robust technical solutions.
Lead the end‑to‑end technical design and implementation of scalable, secure software solutions for the domain.
