Job summary

Knoxville TVA Employees Credit Union is seeking a detail‑oriented loan file auditor to verify documentation, signatures, and compliance across closed mortgage files.

Responsibilities include obtaining post-closing title policies, handling deeds and releases, HMDA reporting, and coordinating with attorneys and other third parties.

You will answer calls, greet members, cross-sell lending products, follow policies, and maintain professional conduct.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of clerical/administrative office experience.
• Previous title company experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain post-closing Lenders Title Policies.
• Receive Deed of Trust and Release of Lien from Register of Deeds office for each county.
• Complete HMDA reporting to the Federal Reserve Board.
• Contact attorneys or third parties for remaining documentation.
• Perform Government Monitoring on all mortgage files.
• Answer telephone promptly and greet members courteously before transferring them.
• Cross-sell other lending products and Credit Union services.
• Follow all Credit Union policies, procedures and regulations.
• Represent the Credit Union professionally in appearance, behavior and performance.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work cooperatively with others.
• All other duties as assigned.

Responsible for receipt of Deed of Trust and Release of Lien from Register of Deeds office from each county.

Responsible for the completion of the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA) reporting to Federal Reserve Board.

Contact the offices of attorneys or any other third party for remaining documentation.

Perform Government Monitoring on all mortgage files.

Answer telephone promptly and greet members courteously and professionally prior to transferring them to the appropriate person.

Cross-sell other lending products and Credit Union services.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Experience – High school diploma or general education degree (GED); one or more years of clerical/administrative office experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous title company experience preferred.
