Job summary

Illapa Search Ltd., a premier global law firm, seeks a Real Estate Associate for their Houston office to handle sophisticated real estate matters arising from energy, infrastructure development, acquisitions and financing.

You will draft and negotiate purchase agreements, leases, and access agreements; perform due diligence including title and survey; and resolve real estate issues impacting project development and financing. This role demands strong drafting and cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience with real estate matters related to energy, renewable energy or infrastructure projects.
• Experience with title and survey review, site control, acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, easements and related real estate documentation.
• Experience supporting financing transactions from a real estate perspective is valuable.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical and project-management skills.
• Excellent academic credentials and strong written and verbal communication skills.

An elite global law firm looking to onboard an accomplished Real Estate Associate for their Real Estate Department in their Houston office.

The associate will advise on sophisticated real estate matters arising in connection with energy and infrastructure development, acquisition and financing transactions. Responsibilities will include drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, leases, easements, option agreements, access agreements and other site-control documentation; conducting and managing title, survey and other real estate due diligence; and identifying and resolving real estate issues affecting project development and financing.

Qualifications

• Experience with real estate matters relating to energy, renewable energy or infrastructure projects strongly preferred.
• Experience with title and survey review, site control, acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, easements and related real estate documentation.
• Experience supporting financing transactions from a real estate perspective is particularly valuable.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical and project-management skills.
• Ability to work effectively across practice areas and manage multiple complex transactions simultaneously.

Subject to the candidate's experience, the salary range for this role is $310,000 - $390,000.
