Qualifications

• 1+ years of transferable experience in the investment management industry.
• Bachelor’s degree; concentration in Mathematics, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Business, or similar is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Fair Value GAAP Accounting for private fund performance.
• Analytical and mathematical skills for calculating and disseminating performance data.
• Data aggregation and relational database analytics with Excel/Tableau/Power BI.
• Ability to manipulate data and build data pipelines in Python/R.
• Experience with AI tooling to improve data pipelines and analytics workflows.
• Client service mindset and strong written and oral communication.
• Familiarity with third-party financial databases and MS Office; team collaboration.
• Pursuit/completion of CIPM/CAIA/CFA encouraged; Private Equity RE experience; Yardi; Anaplan.

Responsibilities

• Completes research in real estate including background research and valuation.
• Prepares portfolio-level financial analyses and appraisals.
• Conducts ROI analyses for potential acquisitions or expansions.
• Communicates portfolio performance to investors.
• Assists in due diligence on private capital for the platform.
• Keeps a pipeline of investment ideas for 12 months ahead.
• Coordinates with construction management and property development teams.
• Stays alert to investment opportunities and informs the investment team.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics/Finance/Accounting/Business

Pursuit or completion of CIPM/CAIA/CFA designations
